Over the previous 108 days, Israel
killed 11,000 children in Gaza: Palestine Government
According to the Gaza
government's media office on Monday, Anadolu Agency claims that 11,000 children
and 7,500 women have died as a result of Israeli army attacks in the last 108
days in the Gaza Strip.
It stated that 7,000 Palestinians in
the Strip—70% of them are women and children—are still either missing or
beneath rubble as a result of Israeli attacks. It cited a number of fresh
statistics to attempt to illustrate the extent of Gaza's devastation and
suffering.
Over 25,900 bodies have reached
hospitals, and since October 7, when Israel launched its ferocious operation in
Gaza in response to a cross-border raid by the Palestinian organization Hamas
that claimed the lives of about 1,200 people, 63,000 people have been injured.
Since then, meanwhile, Haaretz has
reported that many of the 1,139 soldiers and civilians Israel claimed were
killed by the Palestinian Resistance had actually been killed by Israeli army
helicopters and tanks.
Israeli attacks rendered 290,000 dwellings uninhabitable and entirely destroyed
over 70,000 houses.
According to the statement, 337
healthcare professionals and 45 civilian defense officials have been killed as
a result of Israeli attacks on the healthcare industry.
Israeli assaults in Gaza have claimed the lives of 119 journalists since
October 7.
Attacks put lives in peril by
throwing health care into disarray.
Two million Palestinians were forced to flee the Gaza Strip as a result of the
detention of 99 medical personnel and 10 journalists by Israeli soldiers.
The statement added that 400,000 cases of infectious diseases and more than
8,000 cases of Hepatitis A had been found as a result of Israel's forced
displacement, pointing to the harsh conditions in overcrowded shelters where
Palestinian displaced people seek sanctuary.
In Gaza, 350,000 people with chronic
illnesses face significant risks because there is a shortage of medication, and
around 60,000 pregnant women face critical risks because healthcare facilities
are unable to supply basic necessities.
In addition to partially destroying
295 schools and universities, the Israeli army demolished 140 government
buildings and 99 schools and universities.
Eleven thousand injured people
outside Gaza require medical attention, and ten thousand cancer patients risk
dying from insufficient care.
According to the statement, three
churches and 253 mosques were destroyed by the Israeli army.
Israel destroyed 30 hospitals, 53
clinics, and 122 ambulances in Gaza, as well as targeting 150 medical
facilities there.
Israel destroyed 200 historical and
cultural artifacts in Gaza as part of its campaign to destroy Palestine's
cultural legacy.
The statement also denounced the way
that, since October 7th, the Israeli army has bombarded Gaza with over 65,000
tons of explosives.
